CREDIT CONTROLLER

Job Title: Credit Controller

Reports to: Finance Manager
Responsibilities Summary:
• Formulating and implementation of debt collection Policies , ensuring all credit extended is per credit policy
• Updating debtor ageing and reconciling debtor’s accounts
• Follow up debts to ensure payment in time, sending reminders and demand letters where necessary.
• Periodical circulation of correct debtors’ statements.
• Confirming events and conference attendance to ensure billing is correctly done as per LPO/LSO and raising Invoices
• Facilitating in credit application by debtors
• Controlling of PM accounts to ensure they are as per policy
• Ensure that all the withholding Tax certificates are received and filled appropriately
• liaise with clients and provide documents
• Going for debt collection from clients ( field work) Train team members on the duties in his section for capacity building
Requirements:
• 2 years of experience in credit controls preferably in a hotel
• CPA-K graduate
• Understands all hotel accounting systems both front and back office ( Opera, Sun system and material controls)
